Paddles campaign reaches new heights

Since its launch Mr Train has successfully had paddles signed by leading figures around the world including David Cameron before he became Prime Minister.But now Mr Train wants to see the campaign reach the very top of the world scale and get the leaders of China and America involved in his ideas to tackle climate change.Speaking to the Observer, Mr Train said the signature of the Lithuanian leader was great news for the scheme."Having President Grybauskaite on board is a huge step forward for the campaign," he said."President Grybauskaite is the first woman world leader and the first head of state in the world to sign the Paddles for Life and in terms of political relationships she could help inspire Barack Obama to sign it as well. 

"We have made significant progress over the last few years but there is still work to be done.
